Terms and conditions

General care: Every piece is carefully handmade and quality checked by Katrin Maier in her London studio. As with all handcrafted items there may be slight variations in colour, size and finish from images and descriptions. Washing by hand is recommended as regular dishwasher use may shorten their lifespan.

Packing: All our packaging is as environmentally friendly as possible. The plastic bubble wrap we use is all reclaimed or donated to be re-used. Packing peanuts are 100% bio-degradable. Our cardboard and boxes mostly re-used and is recyclable.

Shipping: All purchases are sent by Royal Mail Second Class. We currently ship to the UK only. Orders should take between 3-5 working days from posting. If you need shipping to a destination elsewhere in Europe, please get in touch directly. Individual cases may be able to be accommodated. Also get in touch directly if you would like t arrange collection in person in London. Katrin Maier Ceramics cannot be held responsible for unforeseen delays due to weather conditions, busy holiday periods or customs delays. All contact and delivery information must be submitted accurately and in full to guarantee that your order is despatched to the correct address. COVID-19 update: Owing to the current situation delivery times cannot be guaranteed. We are happy to hold your purchases here to send at a later date if that suits you better. Very occasionally things can break in transit or go missing. If this happens, please take pictures of broken items and get in touch immediately. I deal with instances like this on a case by case basis and we can arrange a refund or for another order to be sent out.

Returns: If you are not happy with your purchase please let us know within 7 days. Unfortunately we are not able to reimburse return shipping costs unless the product is faulty. Please note that the parcel is your responsibility until it reaches us so please package goods as safely as possible and ask for proof of postage from your post office.

Privacy: We value your privacy as much as we value our own, any personal information that we receive is wholly confidential and will not be shared with any other parties.
